Abdou and Emilia are the protagonists in the animated video made by Bloomik and Lai-momo for the 2016 edition of Bologna cares!, the communication campaign by the Protection System for Asylum Seekers and Refugees (SPRAR) in the town of Bologna.
Welcoming reception: a positive choice!, this is the title of the video which tells how the stories of integration of asylum seekers can take different paths depending on whether or not there is a structured and organised system of reception in place.
When legal and medical aid is offered, when language teaching and instruction are promoted, when integrations is facilitated, there are positive repercussions for the whole of society, both for those who receive and for those who are received.
